This dissertation is a review of a number of mathematical models that have been used to model transport of pollutants. The objective of the study and some basic concepts of atmospheric pollutants are described in Chapter One. As part of the review, the principles of various atmospheric features and relations for the atmospheric planetary boundary layer (PEL) are described in Chapter Two. Finally Chapter Three reviews activities involving the development of various atmospheric transport and diffusion models. ..ren
