dc.description.abstract | A study of the goat testis has been made both at microscopic and ultrastructural levels. The vascular supply, especially with regard to the relationship between the Leydig cells and both the blood and lymphatic capillaries has been documented.
The lymphatic capillaries exist and are extensively developed in the goat testis. These
lymphatics occasionally extend into the peritubular interstitial spaces. The lymphatic capillaries communicate directly with the interstitial space.
The Leydig cells are as closely related to the blood capillaries as they are to the lymphatic capillaries, with no obvious preference to either.
The Leydig cells have whorls of concentric rough endoplasmic reticulum. | en |
