Kenya Revenue Authority is responsible for the collection of Revenue for the Government. Its Supplies Branch is responsible for obtaining and providing-supplies and equipment. The amount of data being kept by the Branch is so huge and overwhelms the current system that is wholly manual. It is tedious to obtain vital information and follow up the status of the various processes in procurement of items and their distribution. With the advent of K'T, organizations have to restructure their operations in order to take advantage of the efficiency brought about by this new technology. The Supplies branch needs an automated system with checks and controls in the inventory management of Supplies. This is the documentation of the project describing fully why and how the project was done, and is titled Supplies Management System'. The project involved identifying the problems with the current system, specifying the requirements of an improved system, and then analyzing, designing and developing such a system.en
