dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to find out the challenges of strategy implementation in chartered private Universities in Kenya. Specifically the study sought to find out if communication, lack of top management commitments, lack of resources and poor organizational structures are the major challenges of strategy implementation. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics while qualitative data was analyzed by organizing data into categories. The study found out that strategy implementation is faced by various challenges such as lack of commitment from the top management, lack of good communication, poor resources allocation and poor organizational structures. Further other challenges observed were lack of funds, lack of training of the personnel involved in strategy implementation and finally the lack of proper skills in change management.
