This study seeks to identify the Critical factors affecting the successful implementation of the Economic Pillar of the Kenya Vision 2030 strategy. The study sought to complement existing literature on the factors that affect strategy implementation. Existing literature says that the factors that affect strategy implementation include top management commitment, involvement of employees in strategy formulation and employees motivation. Based on data collected from two managers of the Economic Pillar of Kenya Vision 2030, the study identified 35 factors that influence the implementation process of the strategy. Some of the factors are strategy formulation process, effective leadership and rewards and incentives to staffs that are responsible for strategy implementation. It is concluded that failures of strategy implementation are inevitable when organizations fail to accord due importance to these factors during the process of the implementation of their strategies.en_US
