The address was made at the University of Nairobi’s Council Chambers in a function attended by Dr Mukhisa Kituyi nominee for the position of Secretary General, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) among other dignitaries. The Director-General was received by Prof. Isaac Mbeche, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Student Affairs who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutoro, Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Jane Mariara, Director, School of Economics and Mr. Jasper Okello, the WTO Chair at the University of Nairobi, staff and PhD students among others. | en_US |
