| dc.description.abstract | Students from the University of Nairobi in collaboration with other students from neighboring universities united to form Youth L.I.T.E Kenya, an initiative that aims to address youth unemployment and support community development practices within the country.
Our idea of addressing youth unemployment through on the job experiences was nominated for the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition- an international contest launched by The Goi Peace Foundation, Stiftung Entrepreneurship (Berlin) and UNESCO.
The idea with the most votes become finalist and stand to win either of 1st, 2nd 3rd or people's choice position and a trip to Berlin to present the idea during the final ceremony.
