dc.description.abstract | A study was conducted at the steep land research site of Kabete campus, University of Nairobi, Kenya, to identify the impact of rainfall direction on soil erosion. Data on rainfall intensity, duration and amount, wind direction, runoff and soil loss were collected for each rainfall event. Preliminary results indicated poor correlation between soil loss and rainfall inclination, but did establish a regular pattern between dominant wind direction and rainfall directions. | en_US |
