dc.description.abstractThe study sought to establish factors related to employee retention in manufacturing firms in Nairobi. 96 manufacturing firms from different sectors were used in the study. A cross sectional survey method was used to collect data because the sector is quite large with more than 500 firms. The study primarily used data collected through a structured questionnaire with the sole aim of establishing factors related to employee retention in the manufacturing sector in Nairobi. The results of the study revealed that most of the employees consider organizational culture and job satisfaction as the key factors that influence employee retention in the sector.en
