In this lecture, the author gives examples of recent occurences of drought and the misery accompanying them in various parts of the world. In particular, he stresses the need for the perfection in the art of rainmakers to help in allievating world drought. He then examines the art of "Gods of rain" quoting biblical examples and those of the African "rain doctors". The lecture concludes by examining both the art of rain formation by nature and those practiced by meteorologists.en_US
