Recent trends however, show farmers shifting to non-farm income generating activities due to continuous decline of agricultural sector. The study therefore, seeks to evaluate factors influencing farmer’s decision making on engagement to either farm or non-farm income generating activities or implications of these activities to livelihoods in Kadibo division, Kisumu County. Data will be collected using structured questionnaire. The respondents will provide information on; type of income generating activities that they participate in, factors that drives them to these activities and contribution of these activities to their livelihoods. Data will be analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Scientists.en_US
