The use of herbicides of weed control in Kenya and other tropical countries is relatively new but gaining steady popularity. Full assessment of the importance of herbicides in Kenya in crop production is not readily analysable. Crop loss due to weeds range from 20% to a total crop loss, 100%. Specific data for loss in crop yields due to weed competition varies a great deal in most tropical countries. (…)en_US
