| dc.description.abstract | The Department of Linguistics and Languages in collaboration with UNESCO and the Bible Translation and Literacy (BTL) will be hosting this year’s International Mother Tongue day as from February 18- 20, 2015.
This day is set aside to celebrate cultural diversity across the globe. During the celebrations, people are encouraged to maintain the knowledge of their mother language while learning and using more than one language.
