Abstract

UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES & LINKS MUNDUS ACP II SCHOLARSHIP 3RD COHORT 2013 APPLICATION DATES: 30TH SEPTEMBER TO 15TH DECEMBER 2013 The University of Porto on behalf of the Consortium Universities is happy to inform you of the 3rd Call for Mundus ACP II project for masters & staff mobility. The call for applications is open from 30th September to 15th December, 2013. University of Nairobi is a member of this Consortium and potential Masters UoN students & staff are encouraged to apply for the right scholarship mobility. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that within the MUNDUS ACP II, there are several European Institutions (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium, University of Liege (ULg), Belgium, University of Lille (ULille) – France, Universita degli studi di Roma “La Sapienza” (URoma) Italy, University of Porto (UP), Portugal, University of Complutense of Madrid (UCM) – Spain, Malmo University (MU), Sweden and Technische Universitat Dresden (TUD), Germany. It is advisable that potential students choose 3 different Institutions during application. The Scholarship offers 6-10 months Masters degree mobility and one (1) month for academic & administrative staff mobility. Candidates are asked to review the various masters programmes from the European Institutions. Most of these Institutions offer or teach masters degrees in English, as well. Kindly visit the MUNDUS ACP II website http://mundusacp.up.pt regularly for familiarization of the various documents before you apply online. The scholarships cover tuition, stipend, medical insurance, return air ticket, visa fee etc. N.B Due to the time constraints on the mobility implementation, the academic offer available for full masters in Europe will only consider ten (10) month Master mobility and that the new rules determine that Alumni are not eligible to apply under the 3rd cohort.
