dc.description.abstract	A member of the teaching staff of the School , Dr Musembi Nungu has been awarded the Deans' Committee Research grant to enable him carry out his research entitled "Decentralized School Governance in Kenya: An Evaluation of Grassroots stakeholder Understanding" The proposal was reviewed on the basis of its scientific quality and significance in regard to the national targets and the University of Nairobi strategic plan. Dr Musembi's proposal was found to be addressing an understanding of decentralized school governance in Kenya by grassroots stakeholders. We take this opportunity to congratulate Dr Musembi on this achievement. Others awarded in similar capacities were	en_US
