Abstract
The University of Nairobi School of Engineering journal Engineering Science and Technology Research Journal (ESTR Journal) publishes scholarly articles in the field of engineering and other applied sciences. The journal aims at providing researchers in the School of Engineering and other institutions with a forum to publish and disseminate their findings within the national and regional context to the wider scientific community. In publishing researchers work, the journal facilitates in date stamping to establish basis for precedence claims.
Editorial Policy
The ESTR Journal publishes original work that has not been published previously or concurrently submitted for review in any other publication. All manuscripts to be peer reviewed for scholarly standards. The journal commits itself to short turnaround time for accept or reject manuscript for publication not exceeding four months after initial submission. All articles published must have relevance to an engineering field and applied sciences. Pure science articles may be accepted where there is a demonstrated potential for engineering application. Original work comprises a minimum of 80% of the journal pages. Review papers, comments and research notes may comprise up to a maximum of 20%.
