dc.description.abstractThe University of Nairobi and the University of Rwanda have discussed plans on possible partnerships between the two institutions.In a meeting with officials from the University of Rwanda, College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) principal, Prof. Enos Njeru, said that the University of Nairobi is committed to benchmarking with the best universities regionally and across the globe.Speaking during meeting, Dr. Alphonse Muleefu from the University of Rwanda said that the University of Nairobi was the most vibrant university in the region and that a close partnership will be mutually beneficial for the two. Dr. Agree Mugabe, also from the University of Rwanda stated that they were seeking mentorship in their postgraduate programs and that they would be glad to receive coaching from the University of Nairobi.Prof. Njeru and the officials from the University of Rwanda agreed to initiate and hasten the memorandum of understanding for the partnership to kick off immediately. Also present during the meeting was College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) registrar, Dr. Joseph Obosi.en_US
