Saline extract of Fasciola gigantica adults was fractionated by gel filtration in 3 protein peaks. Immunodiffusion in agar gel indicated that proteins in the 2nd and 3rd protein peaks contained antigens reactive in precipitation tests with sera from infected rabbits. These antigens were further fractionated into 2 proteins by disc electrophoresis.en_US
