dc.description.abstractPurpose is to try and analyse the Kenyan cultural problem within the wider context of the impact of imperialism on African cultural values. Also this paper's concern is to try and suggest a possible remedy for the cultural maladay which poses a serious threat to the very foundation and essence of a viable national identity and genuine nationhood in Kenya. Having identified the nature and size of Kenya's cultural problem, the paper proceeds to consider and recommend a number of corrective measures by way of a solution. In the present paper the author reviews his earlier stance on the future of the Kenyan culture in an African contexten_US
