Microsporum nanum has been previously associated with ringworm in man and pigs. This is the first report of its isolation from lesions in a dog. Two alopecic lesions (1.5 cm in diameter) were present on the head; a similar lesion which was also round was found on the back. The animal showed signs of pruritus in the affected areas.en_US
