Major reinforced concrete columns are invariably subjected to combined biaxial bending and compression loading. The available design methods for such columns enable an approximate analysis based on symmetric and uniform reinforcement layout that is often difficult to achieve. The paper presents a theoretical model capable of predicting the entire response to combined compression and biaxial bending for a rectangular column section with any reinforcement layout.en_US
