dc.description.abstractTaita Ngetich, a 5th year, Mechanical Engineering student, made a presentation dubbed ‘Mkulima Hodari’ during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit that was hosted by President Barrack Obama and President Uhuru Kenyatta in July 2015.Mkulima Hodari is a Green house automation system with sensors that monitors temperature, humidity and soil moisture and regulates water through the drip lines. The system is then linked to the farmer’s mobile phone via sms to enable remote monitoring and control.en_US
