Toxic and medicinal plants of East Africa. Part I. Part II.
Abstract
Plant poisoning causes considerable annual loss among cattle and sheep in East Africa; newly imported animals are particularly susceptible. The following plants common to E. Africa proved poisonous when fed to cattle and sheep: Elaeodendron buchananii, , Acokanthera spp., Dialiopsis africana and Stephanorossia palustris. The symptoms and P.M. lesions induced by each plant are described.TMD
