dc.description.abstractThe water channel where Nairobi Rivers passes at the Chiromo bridge is undergoing adjustments so as to counter the expected el-nino rains by preventing flooding from the rains. Gabions will also be erected to avert filtration at the river. The project is expected to be completed by October 24, 2015. The team managing the project is Thika Road Maintenance Project managed by Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA) and overseen by John Kiriri who is a member of staff from Students Welfare Authority (SWA) and the security personnel incharge.en_US
