dc.description.abstractCollege Environmental Sustainability Committee had meeting with Senior Officers from National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) and property developers adjacent to Kabete Field Station. Chaired by Prof. Charles Mulei, CAVS acting Principal, the meeting’s main objective was to discuss the protection and conservation of Mathare Dam. Together, they visited Mathari River to assess its status. They agreed to form a steering committee that will spearhead stakeholder mobilization for collective action to protect and conserve Mathari River and its dam.en_US
