dc.description.abstract | This study general objective was to analyze the factors affecting access to credit by the SBPGs in Trans Nzoia County. Specifically the study aimed to determine the factors that influence access to credit by the SBPGs in Trans Nzoia County, to determine how farmers choose their source of credit and to determine the role of credit facilities on performance of small business producer groups. The research used cross sectional design while data was collected through in-depth personal interviews administered through open-ended interview guides (Appendix I).
