Iochemical aspects in the coffe arabica- cellectoriculum lahancae host-pathogen system were investigated using C.Arabica cultivars known to be susceptible, medium resistant to C.Kahawa.The aspect studied were peroxidase and esterase isozymes mainly using SDS-PAGE, perosidase activity and proteolytic activity in both non-inoculated and innoculate seedlings, detached berries and attached berries. It was possible to group the susceptible cultivar, CVSsl28and sl 34together with all the innaculated experimental samples, and this was the case with the resistant cultivars, CVS k7 and catimor together in a class of their ownen_US
