dc.description.abstractThe study is out to investigate the effectiveness of functional literacy projects on growth in ace programs in Kajiado central sub county Kajiado County. The study will be guided by the following objectives  To determine the contribution of income generating activities to growth in ACE programmes in Kajiado central sub county e.g. goat keeping, bee keeping and beads making.  To establish the contribution of functional skills e.g. carpentry, wood work etc to growth in ACE programmes in kajiado central sub county.  To determine the extent to which social skills contribute to growth in ACE programmes in Kajiado central sub county. The study will employ descriptive research design to establish the effectiveness of functional literacy projects on growth in ACE programs in Kajiado central sub county. Nine centers and nine adult teachers will be sampled through simple random sampling procedure and purposive sampling will be used to sample eighteen learners to participate through observationen_US
