dc.description.abstract | The appearance of a fungi-like material on co .. trlmoxazole tablets and an anti-diarrheal tablet formulation was investigated. The former being a locally manufactured product, while the latter was an imported product. Samples of these two products were evaluated for weight uniformity and overall moisture up-take. Both products showed substantial moisture content. Culture and isolation of the microbial components of the tablets showed extensive contamination by several types of fungi.
