dc.description.abstractThe appearance of a fungi-like material on co .. trlmoxazole tablets and an anti-diarrheal tablet formulation was investigated. The former being a locally manufactured product, while the latter was an imported product. Samples of these two products were evaluated for weight uniformity and overall moisture up-take. Both products showed substantial moisture content. Culture and isolation of the microbial components of the tablets showed extensive contamination by several types of fungi. Among the isolated Aspergillus fumigates was the major micro organismen
