dc.description.abstractStrategic management is a collection of management actions and decisions used by an organization to achieve increased performance and retained a competitive edge over competitors. This study intended to assess the effect of drivers of strategic management five star hotels' performance in the county of Nairobi. Other specific objectives this study sought to achieve include:to establish the effect of customer relationship management on five star hotels' performance in the county of Nairobi; Also to determine the effect of the driver of organization learning five star hotels' performance in the county of Nairobi; to establish the effect of the driver of competitive positioning five star hotels' performance in the county of Nairobi and to determine the effect of the driver of information communication five star hotels' performance in the county of Nairobi. Questionnaires as primary data collection tools and secondary data sheet for secondary data collection were used to carry out data collection and later analyzed using Multiple regression (standard), descriptive analysis (means and standard deviations) and inferential statistics. The 10 five star hotels in Nairobu city were the target population of the Study. In each of the 10 five star hotels a senior manager was purposively selected to participate in the study as respondent. A sample size of 10 senior managers of the 10 five star hotels was therefore used.With the aid of SPSS (SPSS version 21.0) software quantitative results were tabulated and presented in the form of charts, bar graphs, and narratives. The study employed a research design of cross-sectional survey. It was found out that CRM driver was statistically significant in influencing performance of performance of 5-star hotels in Nairobi. The study found out that Competitive positioning driver was statistically significant in influencing performance of performance of 5-star hotels in Nairobi. The study found out that organization learning driver was statistically significant in influencing performance of performance of 5-star hotels in Nairobi. The study found out that communication information driver was statistically significant in influencing performance of performance of 5-star hotels in Nairobi.en_US
