dc.description.abstract | Quality education is the gateway towards the wholesome development of a country and is an
important element in assessing the level of development.1 Education builds human capital,
which is an important tool for economic development. Countries that want to progress
economically must give adequate attention to education. Development plans for education are
a high priority.2 Education and development are intimately linked with each having the goal
and purpose of enhancing human life. They both focus on the development of human potential
by building their knowledge and skill system. The value in human life can only be achieved
through education, whether formal or informal. It improves the quality of people's lives and
stimulates economic growth. The educational system of a country, therefore, plays a significant
role in determining the shape of the future at economic, social and cultural levels. Famed
