This paper investigates design of spectrally efficient nonlinear transmission scheme for uncoded space-time labeling diversity that is compatible with DVB-S2X standard. Designs are presented for 64-APSK constellation by employing selection criterion based on mutual information for different non-equiprobable symbol probability and the constellation mapper design for each ring configuration is examined. Heuristic algorithm is applied in designing the constellation specifications in nonlinear Rician fading channels. In addition, theoretical average bit error probability are derived based on pairwise error probability. This expression is validated by Monte Carlo simulation results, which converge accurately at high signal-to-noise ratio. Finally, results show capacity gain of various constellation configurations.
