Women’s Experiences in Politics and Constitution-Making in Kenya (S.1, Part 1)

Abstract

The video was recorded in 2017 and focuses on the role of women in the making of the first and second constitutions of Kenya. The two women pathfinders also narrate the role of women’s organizations/movement in enhancing women’s participation in the political arena. They also share their personal experiences, including gender-based violence, in their efforts to enter the political space.
