dc.description.abstractNon-motorized travel is a type of performance transportation that relies on human force to move people rather than energy sources. It entails walking, cycling, and alternatives such as using handcarts or scooters. In the transportation system, Non-motorized travel plays a crucial and unique role; it provides basic mobility, physical fitness, cheaper transportation, and access to motorized modes. In Kisumu, despite rising pedestrian accidents, many investments by the county and the national government in transport are being directed toward motorized transportation to accommodate the city's growing number of vehicles. Although non-motorized modes are the most basic mode of transportation, upgrading their structure has been neglected. This research examined beneficiary feedback approaches' influence on implementing a non-motorized urban transportation project in Kisumu City. The formal beneficiary feedback components analysed by this study included the planning and designing methods used, the collection of data, the formulation of findings, the dissemination of the reports, and how they influenced the implementation of the non-motorized travel in Kisumu. The target population included departments affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, the Kisumu County Government, and Kisumu City citizens. A stratified random sampling approach was utilized to pick 185 persons supplying information by filling out self-administered survey questionnaires and participating in interviews. Finally, data was analysed using descriptive statistics techniques such as percentage frequency, mean and standard deviation. The study descriptive results revealed that planning and designing positively influences the implementation of non-motorized transport projects in Kisumu City County. The descriptive results revealed that majority respondents with statements used to measure the influence of data also revealed that the data collection techniques has a positive influence on the implementation of non-motorised transport project in Kisumu City, Kenya. The study also concluded that data collection techniques has a positive influence on the implementation of non-motorised transport project in Kisumu City, Kenya. Further, the study concluded that formulation of findings positively influences implementation of Non- motorised transport project in Kisumu City County, Kenya. This study was carried out in in Kisumu County, Kenya, this study suggest that a similar should be carried out to determine the influence of formal beneficiary feedback approach on the implementation of non-motorized urban transportation projects in other counties in Kenya other than Kisumu Counten_US
