dc.description.abstractSchool digitalization is the integration of technology and digital tools into education, enhancing teaching, learning, administrative tasks, and communication. This study assessed the impact of organizational digital readiness on the digitalization of secondary schools in Kipipiri sub-county, Nyandarua County, Kenya. The objectives were to establish the influence of Boards of management governance, to assess how ICT security, to determine how competency level of Principals and to examine how technological maturity influences the digitalization of secondary schools in Kipipiri Sub County. The research employed a descriptive research approach and focused on school principals, department heads, and fourth-year students. Schools were chosen using stratified sampling, and data was gathered through surveys and interviews. Both descriptive and inferential analyses were carried out to explore connections between different factors. The findings demonstrated that all the factors being studied had a noteworthy impact on school digitalization. Among these, readiness in terms of skills showed the strongest correlation, which was 0.744. The study recommended that school administrations provide regular professional development opportunities to enhance teachers' ICT skills and pedagogical knowledge. Ongoing professional development should be implemented to keep pace with evolving technology. Furthermore, administrations should actively integrate technology into teaching and learning processes and encourage teachers to explore innovative instructional strategies using ICT tools and resourcesen_US
