Eosinophil Response To Trauma And Infection
Abstract
A prospective study of an aspect of body response to
trauma and infection using eosinophil count as a parameter
conducted at the Kenyatta National Hospital over a period
of eight months is presented.
A good correlation was found between the eosinophil
count and magnitude of trauma and infection. From the results
of the eosinophil count it was found that post-operative
wound infection could be predicted.
