dc.description.abstractIntracerebral hemorrhage accounts for about 10% of all strokes. The diagnosis of this stroke subtype has been revolutionized by the use the computed tomography scanner. Therapeutic intervention in the form of medical and surgical management is reviewed. The critical management issues center on identifying the etiology of hemorrhage, controlling blood pressure, and controlling intracranial pressure.en
