This study sought to find out the impact of the preschool feeding programme on children's performance in Kangeta Division of Meru County. It also sought to examine the trend of performance in all the pre-schools in the division, the relationship between the pre-school feeding programme and pre-school performance and the effect of the attitude of the stakeholders towards the programme on performance. The study population involved all the public pre-schools in Kangeta Division as well as the parents of the pupils in these pre-schools. The study employed the survey research design which is qualitative in nature. The data collected during the study was coded and presented graphically. From the study, it emerged that since the introduction of the preschool feeding programme in 2004, the levels of preschool performance shot up suddenly. From these findings, this study recommends that more emphasis should be put in the preschoolfeeding programme by the stakeholders to ensure that children get the best out of it.en_US
