This Is The Time: Make Peace Happen
Abstract
Conflict and conflict situations leave us in a dile
mma where we keep asking, what next?
In
conflict situations, the sad faces are more than th
e happy ones. Military training is becoming
compulsory for women, and children are left alone i
n the ruins of war; mined fields and rebel
groups abduct children to be made soldiers. In man
y African countries, peace keepers is an ever
present phenomenon, women travel over long distance
of perched land to search for water,
African forests have been put in high eco alert, be
nefits from rich resources as oil rarely benefit
the population. This paper tries to answer the ques
tion do we still have any hope for finding
viable solutions to these conflicts?
