dc.description.abstractConflict and conflict situations leave us in a dile mma where we keep asking, what next? In conflict situations, the sad faces are more than th e happy ones. Military training is becoming compulsory for women, and children are left alone i n the ruins of war; mined fields and rebel groups abduct children to be made soldiers. In man y African countries, peace keepers is an ever present phenomenon, women travel over long distance of perched land to search for water, African forests have been put in high eco alert, be nefits from rich resources as oil rarely benefit the population. This paper tries to answer the ques tion do we still have any hope for finding viable solutions to these conflicts?en
