dc.description.abstractThe main concern of the research in this study was to find out the motivating factors for the customers of the leading mobile services providers in Kenya The purpose of this study was to identify the areas of customers motivating factors are: Sales promotion,Public relations and marketing communications It also sought to establish ways to which customers can get motivated in order the companies can increase their actual sales. A review of literature on the motivating factors for the customers of the leading services providers. The main instrument used was the questionnaire with questions seeking illicit general information of the sample population. The sample population was selected by stratified sampling from a population of fifty (50). The sample was therefore 50% of the research population. The data collected from customers was supplemented and counter checked using the observation schedule for the companies. Total responses from twenty five supplemented and counter checked against the companies staff reports were analysed using statistical package for the social sciences in tables, frequencies and percentages and discussions on the same ground, some of the recommendations implemented are as follows:- 1. Improving infrastructure in the very country. 11. Creating employment opportunities Ill. Communities' mobilization and support. iv. Building the disables and the needy people amongst the communities. v. Improving telephony and networking services VI. Educating the people about the industries and it's importance to the country etc.en_US
