dc.description.abstractThis study was designed for the purpose of investigating the influence of Micro finance product services in enhancing gender equality while using Kawangware Faulu Kenya as the case study. Its objectives sought to examine the influence of loan product, savings, insurance and capacity building on enhancing gender equality in Kawangware a case of Faulu Kenya. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design to gather data from selected sample population in Kawangware Faulu Kenya. The primary data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and analyzed by descriptive a statistics. There after the findings were presented using tables and, pie chart and percentages. The study found out that Micro Finance Institution product service enhances gender equality because there were small margins between the number of males vis avis female consuming the product services from Faulu Kenya Kawangware and also most of the clients both male and female had similar success stories. Faulu Kenya offered equal opportunities to all clients regardless of their genders. This was found on the pattern of savings, loan and insurance consumption where men and women equally consumed the products. The research recommends that the Government of Kenya to funds all the Micro Finance Institutions so that credit can reach more people. Also the Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Youth and Gender, to increase funding for both the women enterprise fund and youth fund. Finally, the Ministry of Education to include Micro financing as an additional content area to cover in the school curriculum because from the findings of this study micro financing is a key tool that can be used for socio- economic development and meeting vision 2030.en_US
