dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of supervisory activities on the implementation of early childhood education curriculum in public pre-school in Langata District. The study targeted 8 public preschool the sample comprised of 4 divisions in the district, 4 divisional QASOs, 3 DICECE officers, all primary head teachers and preschool teachers in the sampled schools. The research proposal was based on the fact that there was inefficient and inadequate supervision of ECDE curriculum implementation, which had engraved the education in the public pre-schools .Descriptive survey research, was used to analyse the level of involvement in supervision by the QASOs, DICECE officers, primary school head teachers, and preschool teachers. The relationship between variables was explained using conceptual and theoretical frameworks. The literature review was focused on supervision of ECDE curriculum, supervision of education in schools; a global view, regional in Kenya and in Langata district, Nairobi county. The tools developed for the study include questionnaires for QASOs, DICECE officers, primary school head teachers and preschool teachers. Interview schedule was also used because questionnaires tend to limit more information.en_US
