dc.description.abstract | Datura stramonium, Azadirachta indica and Bidens pilosa, are herbal drugs of global importance
used for the treatment of different ailments. At global, regional, national and local levels, the end
users of these drugs face the problem of adulteration. Macroscopic and microscopic features of these
plants were studied using basic techniques to help in identification of drugs, their constituents and any
adulterants. This study contributes towards global recognition and acceptance of these plants as herbal
