Analysis of selected techniques for surveys of intestinal parasites.
Abstract
A review is given of the recent literature on methods for diagnosis of intestinal parasites for epidemiological surveys. There are 23 references. The Kato, Harada-Mori, merthiolate-iodine-formaldehyde (MIF), scotch-tape and egg-count techniques for helminths are briefly discussed and the procedures are described in a technical appendix.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:A review of the recent literature on methods for diagnosis of intestinal parasites for epidemiological surveys has 23 references.
